Our Story
We’ve Been Farming Since 1830
In 2011, responding to a need from the educated consumer for local, responsibly raised meats, the Keener Farm CSA or “Community Supported Agriculture” was born, providing grass-fed beef, pastured chicken, and choice cuts of pork, sausage, & bacon.
Keener’s Butcher Block began as a CSA with a simple refrigerated truck on the farm, laying the foundation for the thriving brick-and-mortar shop it is today. For generations, the business has carried on the tradition of providing the community with fresh, high-quality products.
